Magwagwa ward MCA Fred Omayio claims that BBI is aimed at taming Deputy President William Ruto's bid to vie for the country's top presidential seat.
Speaking on Thursday noon at Esanige grounds where the Nyamira County Football tournament was held, the MCA said that the BBI is a force which has been created by leaders who want to take DP Ruto away from the seat.
"When I look at the BBI report at some point there is some aspect of irony as the seats there seem to be already known by the ones whom will occupy the seats. These are the ones who want to stick and cling on to power but I believe that this will not limit the hustler supporters to choose their desired leader," he opined.
He added that the BBI will only be eligible if people will pass it but not the leaders on the top.
"I would also like to urge my fellow Kenyan citizens that it is there decision that will favour the passing of the BBI but not the leaders on top. Kindly read the report and make a decision on your own about. Don't be influenced by anyone," he added.
