Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama on Wednesday stated that he will only work with the serious employees in his administration.
Speaking when he toured Magwagwa village during the inspection of the ongoing road construction works in the area, the county boss said lazy county staff will not be entertained.
The governor maintained that he will not hesitate to send home lazy CeCs as well as junior workers.
"As you can see I'm not sitting in the office. I am out of the office to serve the people of Nyamira at the grassroots level. CeCs who don't work must be ready to go home," said Nyagarama.
"I will not get tired of telling ministers to get out of their offices and work. All I want to see is work being done across the county. The people of Nyamira gave me an opportunity which I should not misuse by condoning lazy people," he stated.
Nyagarama assured residents that feeder roads in the county will be upgraded in a bid to ease transportation.
"When our roads are passable, businesses are likely to improve because motorists will be ferrying traders to various markets without any difficulties," he added.
