Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has cautioned Muguga Chief who has been constantly accused of smoking bhang and also colluding with drug peddlers to escape from authority.
“I would not wish for anyone to lose their job, but Chief, if you will continue being mentioned in this drug business. You will go… It is very wrong for anyone in the public service to engage in illegal activities,"warned Waititu.Waititu who issued a stern warning said security would be beefed up and that unfit administrators will be dealt with according to the law.
The county boss was speaking at the funeral of the father of a bodyguard attached to the Kiambu deputy governor James Karanja Nyoro who was shot dead by unknown thugs. “We are working with all security agencies in the county to ensure we deal firmly with these criminal gangs that are killing people,” said Waititu.“I want to warn those chiefs being mentioned in the bhang business. We will not spare them because of their positions.
