The Amani National Congress (ANC) party is now mocking its colleague within the National Super Alliance (NASA), the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), over its latest woes.

The party on Friday lost in both the Ugenya and Embakasi South parliamentary by-elections, in what ANC Secretary General Muluka says is the repayment for ODM's bullying nature.

Muluka now says that the party's defeat signifies its sunset, adding that it has a tendency of trampling on the other NASA parties; ANC, Ford Kenya and Wiper Party.

“Remember someone saying the divorce would be loud, noisy, messy and with consequences? These are the signs," he told the Daily Nation.

He slammed ODM boss Raila Odinga for allegedly thriving in politics of riding on the backs of others but noted that his days are numbered as the signs show.

"The ODM leader has demonstrated that he excels in the partnership of a horse and a rider, where he is always the rider and his partners the horses. Haven’t you heard him talking about a two-horse race?” he asked.

The party's candidate Chris Karan on Friday lost the Ugenya seat to former MP David Ochieng of the little-known Movement for Democracy and Growth (MDG).

In Embakasi, ODM's Irshad Sumra lost to Wiper's Julius Mawadhe, in what has been declared a humiliating defeat for the once invincible political side.
