Deputy President William Ruto has been asked to carry his own cross in 2022 general elections.
Nyamira County Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Richard Kaka said DP Ruto should stop blaming opposition leaders over his tribulations in Jubilee party.
"DP Ruto has a vision to embezzle public funds and not development. He should be ready to walk it alone in 2022 because there is no one to rally behind him," he said.
Mr Kaka said DP Ruto's numerous tours to Gusii region will not enable him get support in 2022.
"The Gusii community is not enjoying anything following DP Ruto unnecessary tours. We will chase him away with his hosts next time he will step his foot in the region because he has been making false promises," said the ODM leader.
He challenged Mr. Ruto to stop fighting President Uhuru Kenyatta using his aides.
"Raila and Uhuru are national leaders who agreed to shake hands for the purpose of unity in this country. My humble request to Mr. Ruto is that he must stop using his close allies to separate the two leaders," he stated.
