A Nation journalist Barack Oduor is nursing injuries in a hospital after narrowly escaping the jaws of death.

The journalist was in the process of investigating a love triangle involving Migori Governor Okoth Obado.

He was reportedly bundled into a car which sped off with him to an unknown destination.

When the vehicle reached Nyangweso Market Centre, Mr Oduor gambled; he bailed out of the speeding car and sustained serious injuries in the process.

Oduor was abducted at Rodi Kopany as he waited for Sharon Otieno, who allegedly had been impregnated and abandoned by Governor Obado.

Sharon was on Wednesday found lifeless in Kodera Forest.

Police officers have arrested the personal assistant of the governor for interrogation.
