President Uhuru Kenyatta will after all expand his cabinet to 32 members by next year, a senior ODM official has intimidated.

And even before that happens, Uhuru, after consultation with Raila Odinga last week in Mombasa, agreed to crack a whip on corrupt and lazy ministers and PSs.

"He'll will break loose soon. In fact, ministers who have disappointed in terms of performance and those whose ministries have been embroiled in corruption will be shown exit door.

"The cabinet, though Building Bridges initiative, will be expanded to 32. This will be done through an amendment," said the official in confidence.

When the team lead by Ambassador Martin Kimani and Paul Mwangi finishes doing a report, Parliament is expected to endorse the proposal.

At Mombasa on Thursday, Uhuru and Raila are said to have discussed in-depth nationalism issues among them fight against graft, tribalism and national unity.

Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe was quoted by local media insisting that the president's unity agenda was unstoppable.

"For the president to achieve his Big Four, he must bright everyone on board. That is unstoppable," he said.

In the anticipated changes before the expansion of the cabinet, Uhuru is likely to bring on board to government people close to the ODM leader.
