Speaking during an interview on Jeff Koinange’s JKL, Kuria said that Murathe is among the leaders who can annoy one anytime but he shares many things when with him.

When asked about a confrontation they had with Murathe, Kuria said that it doesn’t mean they are enemies as speculated by some media houses.

“You know Murathe is talented. He can upset you even on your most peaceful and quiet day, but he is my friend. On a personal level David is my very good friend,” Kuria told Jeff Koinange.

Kuria also exuded confidence that he will give Deputy President William Ruto a run for his money in the race for Presidency come 2022.

The lawmaker said that he has what it takes to beat the second in command in the contest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He insisted that he is not ready to deputize Ruto in 2022.

The vocal lawmaker noted that he is influential and commands millions of votes from different parts of the nation.

Ruto is considered one of the front-runners in the race to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta as he completes his second and final term in office.
