In a question and answer session with it's supporters on Twitter, the party admitted that it's primaries have not been as peaceful as they should be.

However, the party argued that the same is justifiable.

According to the opposition outfit, any party of ODM's caliber is expected to face such at times, thanks to its massive support base and national acceptance.

However, the party said that plans are in place to tame violence during primaries, which was also highlighted in a recent internal audit carried out by the party.

"Every party has witnessed such. However, ODM being the most popular party, such incidents are bound to happen. But the report by the Task Force on Party Nominations has a solution to all these concerns. Things will change," said the party.

The findings were made by a team looking into ODM's dwindling popularity as has been seen in latest elections and by-elections.
