With President Uhuru Kenyatta firing shots at cartels, Arati however, insists that the judicial system may not help curb the vices in the near future.

"We have had a problem in fighting graft once and for all. We are having a scenario where these cases are dragged in court and are unending.

"In my view, those involved should be castrated and paraded in public for them to serve as an example and the president should authorise that. We can't continue tolerating plundering of public resources," he said.

During his end year address, President Uhuru Kenyatta seemingly lauded the spirit of handshake, insisting that it had helped greatly to lock out cartels.

He said: "In this unity pact, we are having a scenario where thieves do not have a place to hide. They are completely locked and can't hide in their communities."

Further, Arati urged Uhuru to kick out corrupt ministers as a commitment towards his war on graft which he says is yet to deliver much.
