Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has claimed that many Kenyans love hiring advocates affiliated to the Orange party because they offer competent legal services.
In an interview on Citizen TV live on Monday, Sifuna noted that some of the best lawyers in the country are members of ODM.
"It is either fortunate or unfortunate that some of the best legal minds we have in this country are associated with ODM so when people are in trouble then they always rush," Sifuna said.
The Orange party boasts of having some of the best legal minds that include; Senator James Orengo, former Attorney General Amos Wako, Members of Parliament; Millie Odhiambo, Otiende Amollo, Opondo Kaluma, TJ Kajwang, among others.
The above mentioned, in collaboration with other lawyers have represented many parties in court and won a number of high profile cases.
In 2017, Orengo and Otiende Amollo led to a team of legal minds in successfully petitioning the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta for a second term.
The ruling was historic, since no other African country has ever had the election of it's sitting president nullified by a court of law.
