A woman in Mwembe village, Kisii county, was beaten to a pulp after she served his drunk husband human waste on Thursday.
Daniel Onyancha arrived home drunk and beat her wife, Cynthia Nyakerario mercilessly after she requested for some food only to be served with human waste.
According to Onyancha, his wife has been disrespectful and has since changed into a woman that she never knew before.
"She served me with human waste on a plate to eat. Am I a pig to eat such? I am the man of the house and I should be treated like one. I don't want her again. Let her go to where she belongs," said Onyancha.
According to the wife, her husband has been irresponsible and always drunk yet, "he will always ask for food and comfort at home which provoked me and I decided to serve him with what he deserved," Nyakerario said.
Confirming the incident, Nyumba Kumi chairman Brian Osoro advised the married couples to show a good example to each other and be responsible to ensure such cases do not occur.
"No couple should fight each other, they should instead hold each other's hand in times of hard times," Osoro said.
She was taken to Nyangena Hospital for medical attention.
