Public service commission has issued an alert as well as warned Kenyans over a scam involving cons preying on unsuspecting job seekers.
According to a notice published on the website the Government employment body said there have been cases of which unsuspected Kenyans have been paying recruiters only to realize they have been coned.
“The PSC have been well informed that unsuspected Kenyans have been paying for them to land jobs with the Government and we would like to warn them that we only advertise our jobs on our website or on mainstream media houses,” quoted the notice.
Public service commission also warned Kenyans against paying for any recruitment service from then and stated that their services are always free.
The smart cons according to the website have allegedly been fleecing unsuspecting job seekers by calling upon them to send money prior to the interview and they have been using social media for most of their marketing activities.
Their notice comes at a time the leading brewer in the Country EABL also issued the same warning to job seekers for an existing fake website as well as job porthole calling for Kenyans to apply for no existing jobs.
