Luckily, this should never worry you as there are many things you can do to avoid it.

Here are five crucial steps to take to avoid being bullied online:

Don't respond to bullying messages

Online bullies like it when you respond to their messages or emails. To keep them off, always remain silent no matter what they tell you.

Answering them only make things worse. Sometimes, silence is the best weapon and this would be the best time to use it.

Block them

Try to cut them out by blocking them. Blocking them will prevent them from texting or emailing you. However, this might not be the end as they might come out with a different account to start bullying you again.

In case they use a different account, block all of them to give them a hard time getting to you.

Report them

There are many ways you can report online bullies. If you know them, report them to the police. However, if you don't know them, report them to the social media application you are using, and make sure you have copies of their email or texts they sent you.

Don't believe them

A bully's main aim is to break someone, and cause mental torture to them. No matter what happens, never believe what a bully tells you. Ignore them until they realize you are not interested in anything they tell you.

Talk to a friend

Cyber bullying can have adverse effects on a person. Talking to a friend will help you a lot. As they say, a problem shared, is a problem half solved.
