The police in Kisii have arrested a man who is suspected to be stressing the villagers of Borangi in Kisii by beating and stealing from them using a fake rifle.
The man was caught with a fake gun on Monday by the police, which he has been using to scare people away as he steals from them.
According to the police boss in Kisii Bernard Muli, the man was arrested after the residents aired their complaints and gave him out as the major suspect. They, therefore, attacked him where they found him with the fake rifle.
"We made a step of arresting the man after the residents discreetly told me about the crimes he commits. We arrested him today where we found him with a toy gun that is made out of timber which he has been allegedly scaring residents off with," police boss said.
The suspect is held in Nyamache police station as the police stage an investigation waiting to be arraigned in court.#hivisasaoriginal
