An elected MP from Kisii County has described Deputy President William Ruto as a 'patriotic' citizen.
Bobasi constituency MP Innocent Obiri said DP Ruto is a national leader focused on uniting Kenyans unlike other desperate leaders linking him to corruption.
"Ruto is patriotic and those who are not happy with him being Deputy President should consider waiting for their time to come. For now, Ruto should be given ample time to serve Kenyans and help his boss, President Uhuru Kenyatta, to implement the Big 4 Agenda," he said.
The lawmaker insisted that the fundraisers DP Ruto has been presiding across the country are meant to popularize him ahead of the 2022 polls.
He said Ruto will be at Nyachogochogo grounds in Bobasi on Saturday, November 17, 2018, starting 10 am where he will preside over the fund drive for the construction of 19 Seventh Day Adventists churches of Mogutano District in Bassi Bogetaorio ward.
The MP has since invited citizens of goodwill to turn up in large numbers and join him in welcoming the Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.
