Deputy President William Ruto stole the show on Saturday at the Uzima College in Kisumu during the installation ceremony of Rev. Philip Anyolo as the new Catholic archbishop.
Ruto donated a brand new Pajero Mitsubishi to the man of God.He said the gift was from him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.There were cheers from the congregation as the DP handed over keys to the new man at the helm of the church.Ruto, together with ODM leader Raila Odinga, had earlier received a good reception as they arrived for the function.The DP has been a generous man to church where he usually donates millions of cash during harambees as well as other functions.A section of leaders have, however, questioned the source of the millions he gives.Amani National Coalition (ANC) party leader had even called on churches to reject Ruto’s gifts. #hivisasaoriginal
