Well, before the man of God became well known, he had a relationship with an Israeli girlfriend.

The two were very close and were even planning to get married officially.

However, things went south and the relationship came to an end when he moved to the US and she refused to join him there.

But this was not before his girlfriend bore him a son from the relationship.

But after the breakup, Owuor has not entered any other official marriage. 

He has maintained that going the marriage way has not been presented to him by his calling. 

Owuor says that becoming a father and husband will pin him down with household responsibilities and that he will not be able to conduct his missions well.
