The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna came out on Thursday through his twitter account to attack Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinda.
This was after Malindi MP and Msambweni MP Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori respectively were expelled from the Orange Party on Thursday for their association with Deputy President William Ruto.
The controversial lawyer explained through several tweets that Raila is the one who is publicly supporting Jubilee’s party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta, and so he should have faced the disciplinary actions and not Dori or Jumwa.
Miguna further revealed that ODM party does not belong to Raila.
“Legally, @TheODMparty doesn't belong to @RailaOdinga. It doesn't belong to its members only. Like all other political parties it belongs to Kenyans who fund it. Kenya isn't a theocracy. Freedom of conscience, association and speech are constitutional rights. #EducationDay,” said Miguna Miguna.
He furthered adviced Jumwa and Dori to run to the court for justice.
“Political parties in Kenya are FUNDED by tax payers. The tens of billions of shillings @TheODMparty receives from the Political Parties' Registrar comes from citizens who OWN it. @TheODMparty doesn't belong to @RailaOdinga. Aisha Jumwa and Suleiman Dori should go to court pronto,” added Miguna.
