An elected ODM MP on Friday met Ida Odinga the wife to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Kisii county Women Representative Janet Ong'era met with with Ida during the 63 session of CSW was which concluded on Friday.
"With H.E Mama IDA Odinga at the 63rd session of CSW," wrote Ong'era on her Facebook page.
Further the MP revealed that he represented Gender Cs Hon Prof Kobia in the session.
"I had the pleasure of representing our Gender CS Hon Prof Kobia at the world vision side event ; on “Social Protection to eliminate Violence against Women and Girls “ and what a stimulating discussion it was with leaders from Albania, UNICEF , India, world vision , and the USA," she wrote.
The vocal MP enjoys a good relationship with the former Prime minister Raila Odinga.
In 2013, she was nominated by ODM party to the senate before she was overwhelmingly elected as Kisii county MP during the 2017 polls.
She also enjoys massive support from residents of Kisii County.
Ong'era is likely to retain her seat come 2022 following her exemplary performance.
