"When they won,I congratulated them, when I won they went silent!!! But God is good. "Kii  ni kyaa Kya ngai," (this is the finger of God) #Maundunimavinduku," he posted on his Facebook page.

"Ngai asiasya ngoo. Mwiyai Mbiwie tei nyie muvitanya. (God sees the heart, have mercy on me lord, I am a sinner). Killing Abel did not make Cain accepted," the post further read.

The "Kitole" singer won the award on Saturday in a colourful and hotly contested event.

His song Kyaa Kya ngai was nominated among "Kava ndiwe na yesu" by Wilberforce Musyoka, "Mundu Uiva" by Ev. John Kay, "Tumuka Ndeto" by Eunice Kyalo, "Ngwate Kwoko" by Justus Myello and Testimony by Bessy Blessing.

Kasolo has now won the groove award Eastern song of the year for the fourth time.
