The 2013 Presidential candidate Mwalimu Abduba Dida has blasted the Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi for disrespecting the Embakasi East member of Parliament Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino.
Dida raised concern, disagreeing with Muturu for calling the vocal MP a 'young man' instead of the Honorable Member of Parliament.
Babu Owino was on Thursday barred from asking, his former Vice-Chancellor at the University of Nairobi, Prof George Magoha any question.
Taking to his twitter handle, Dida said, the National Assembly and Parliament at large have representatives of the people who are supreme and that it is not breeding full of young men.
Dida retorted that Muturi's action was disrespectful to the people who elected Babu Owino to Parliament.
"Speaker Muturi has disrespected Hon Babu. To address him as a "young man" shows a lack of respect for the young MP and the people of Embakasi who elected him," he tweeted.
He added that the Speaker demeaned the legislator since Parliament is full of the people's voices who are lawmakers in the country.
" I don't believe that there are "young men" in parliament,
"The speaker could have just addressed him without demeaning him," he reiterated.
