The group, under the Tangatanga tag, has been bashing Raila over his appearance to push for an expanded government, claiming that he is out to create positions for election losers, including himself, in government.

But city lawyer Brian Weke has faulted these remarks, saying that the leader is most likely pushing for what he believes will heal the nation from its current leadership issues.

Speaking on Saturday, the former Makadara parliamentary hopeful noted that Raila will be soon exiting from the political scene, and saying that he is pushing amendments for his own sake would not be correct.

"This is all about us Kenyans, its about the youth. Ukipiga hesabu, in the next 20 years Raila hatakuwa kwa siasa (Raila will not be around in the next 20 years)," he said in an interview on Radio Jambo on Saturday.

He said that if joblessness was the issue, then Raila would have easily secured himself a position in government without having to go through the trouble of pushing for changes.

"I hear some people terming the referendum a one-man affair, in pursuit of a job. If raila wanted a job, he would be having it already  (naskia wengine wanasema referendum ni ya mtu mmoja eti anatafuta kazi, Raila angekuwa antafuta kazi angekuwa ashapata tayari)," he added.

Raila and his allies have said that their push for changes is for the sake of inclusivity, even as the BBI taskforce is yet to reveal the contents if its report.
