Prophet Owuor of the Ministry of Holiness and Repentance left tongues wagging on Friday after he arrived in Nakuru escorted by high-level security that is common with top political leaders.
Owuor, who was riding in a Range Rover, had his convoy of top range vehicles guarded by police officers in eight land cruisers.
There were also a police chase and several outriders and a security siren.
Those who had no idea that the man of God was in town thought it was the President or his deputy in town.
On realising it was the man of God, many wondered why he was using the type of security portrayed.“Why does he move around with more than a whole police station?” a resident asked.
A section of curious onlookers felt that a man of God had no reason to ‘fear anything’.
“Why should he fear if he is a true prophet?" one shouted.
