Speaking on Thursday during a live Kameme simulcast aired on location at his palatial Karen residence, the DP hit out at the group, saying it was in the business of spreading falsehoods and propaganda.

He claimed that the group was working in cahoots with opposition politicians and rejected the notion that he was undermining President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Those moving around the country trying to lecture me about how to support Uhuru Kenyatta, I don't want to call them fools but if I were to say the truth...What are they lecturing me about? If it is about proving that I can stand with a friend, I have proven that. I have stood with Uhuru for the last 20 years. These people calling themselves 'Kutoeleweka', I don't know what, what are they trying to do? They have been going around saying that I should respect the president. Where were they? Their contribution cannot compare to what I have done for Uhuru," Ruto said.

'Kieleweke' team has been traversing the country in pursuit of their proclaimed agenda to derail the DP's presidential ambitions.

Ruto held the view that members of the group were being used by shady individuals to wreck the Jubilee party from within.
