On Sunday September 9, there was drama in the Nairobi CBD involving the police and various matatu drivers.
This incidence happened along Moi Avenue where various matatus had gathered before proceeding on a road trip to Meru.
However, reckless drivers came with their various pimped matatus with youths dangerously dangling from every door, window, and the back.
The “Ty Dolla” named matatu found itself in hot soup after it came reversing in speed before crashing a stationery police car.
According to a video posted on Facebook by Daily Nation and SDE, youths are seen jumping off Ty Dolla after hitting the police car.

The matatu driver took off leaving behind the matatu which was taken to the police station.
Police officers are still looking for the driver and other matatus which were involved in the incident.
Rumors have it that some of the matatus involved in the daring incident operate on Thika Super Highway routes while others operate on Kibera routes.
Investigations are still underway.
