Speaking to renowned journalist Trevor Ombija, Mudavadi said that he has been telling Raila Odinga that he reserves the right to a contrary opinion.

"Including last night we had a conversation on phone so we talk. As I said that we have our challenges but I have always maintained and I have always told him and I keep on telling him that I reserve the right to a different opinion just as he reserves the right to a different opinion.
