It now emerges that Makadara Member of Parliament George Aladwa was one of the guests at a function associated with Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chair in Nairobi county attended the Nairobi Team Ruto function at Jericho in Makadara, an event led by former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
This is according to a tweet by Khalwale after the event, a function he described as a colourful Town Hall meeting.
"Led the Nairobi Team Ruto at a colorful Town Hall meeting at Jericho in Makadara today. The message is loud, clear and spreading. Thank you Hon George Aladwa of the ODM party for joining us," he tweeted.
This comes at a time when the rift between Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga seem to be widening, judging by the increasing hostility being witnessed between their camps.
The two have also been trading attacks, with Ruto accusing Raila of plotting to break the ruling Jubilee Party, claims that have been rubbished by Raila and his team.
They are also considered the worst of political enemies currently, though Raila has repeatedly cleared the air that he is not eyeing the presidency in 2022 as of now.
