After a video of the controversial Pastor James Maina Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism Church demanding his bishops to respect his wife, one of the three bishops has quit.
Bishop Robert Wafula of the Coast region resigned from his role before he handed his church documents to the church elders on Sunday
Mr. Wafula however, did not reveal his next move after his quit, adding that he respects Ng'ang'a even after his rants.
“I am going into silence. Not making a move now. I am praying that God guides me on the next step. I do not want to act in anger. Ng’ang’a was like my father, and even though we have fallen out, I still respect him,” says Wafula as quoted by the Standard.
More so, a video emerged online showing Bishop Wafula in tears, praying and thanking God for giving him an opportunity to work with Pastor Ng'ang'a.
In the video making rounds on social media, Bishop Wafula said it was because of Ng'ang'a that he had seen many changes in is life.
He cried to God to bless Ng'ang'a for he showed him to pray and ask God for blessings.
"Thank you sir (Ng'ang'a) for your heart, you will remain a treasure for my heart. My life changed when I met you. You welcomed me in your house when I had all my home doors closed," said Bishop Wafula
