Speaking in a press conference in Nakuru on Wednesday, the MP termed Ruto as a committed leader who has demonstrated the determination to stick to his promises.

He hailed DP Ruto as a kind-hearted person with great affection to religion, judging by his heavy involvement in contributions towards the construction of churches across the nation.

He also linked the same to retired President Daniel Moi, saying that the two have been very vital in initiating projects to do with religion across the nation.

"I really respect members of the Kalenjin Community because of their sons Ruto and Moi who have heavily involved themselves in bringing up churches and other religious developments," he said.

Ngunjiri added that the two have beaten all the remaining politicians and have always stuck around until the projects are fully done.

"No one else has shown such a great interest in such things and they have always stuck around to help until the structures are fully constructed and operational," he added.

The MP has repeatedly declared his unwavering support for Ruto's presidential bid in the approaching 2022 general elections.
