Makadara MP George Aladwa has maintained that there will be a by-election for the Malindi parliamentary seat in due time.
This comes weeks after the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party expelled area MP Aisha Jumwa over her defiance and rebellion.
The Political Parties Tribunal has, however, temporarily barred ODM from expelling the firebrand Malindi MP.
Speaking on Saturday, Aladwa who doubles up as the ODM Chair for Nairobi county cautioned Jumwa against dramatizing the issue and taking her expulsion for granted.
He insisted that the latter will not manage to complete her term despite having moved to the Court of Appeal to quash the expulsion, maintaining that her fate is sealed.
"She can dance and sing as much as she wants in public rallies but can be sure that she will soon be outside the slot. She cannot survive," said Aladwa.
The party has listed Jumwa's closeness to Deputy President William Ruto and her endorsement of his 2022 presidential bid as one of the reasons behind her expulsion.
The MP has been spotted alongside the DP in numerous functions and has repeatedly insisted that she remains unshaken by her expulsion.
Jumwa has also said she will not apologise to get back to ODM as asked by ODM party boss Raila Odinga.
