Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has condemned the intensified war of words among the country's top leaders leaders.
Taking to his facebook page, the vocal legislator Kuria expressed his disappointment in the manner in which senior government officials are threading words without considering the deplorable economic state of affairs of the country.
"I note with concern the continued escalation of war of words among senior leaders, wrote the controversial MP on his Facebook, Wednesday.
"It is my considered opinion that Kenyans are currently facing acute challenges including unemployment, famine, insecurity in various areas of the country, low incomes for agricultural produce, delayed payments by national and county governments, harassment of small traders and low levels of liquidity due to lack of credit,"read the post.
He added that Kenyans are the ultimate losers as the poverty levels continue striking.
"Kenyans are grappling with poor and inaccessible roads network, lack of clean drinking water, near zero access to electricity as well as a dilapidated Healthcare systems,
"Very many families can not afford three meals a day. In the midst of all these issues, it is baffling how leaders find the mental space and moral fulfillment to exchange insults and engage in cut throat competition for power. I would like to humbly invite the warring factions to ask themselves why everyone else is quiet except themselves,"he added
