Before venturing into politics, former presidential aspirant Abduba Dida was a professionally trained teacher registered by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
Going by how he outlined his political manifesto during the several televised Presidential debates prior to the past elections, it is an open fact that Dida is one of the best teachers in Kenyan history.
Dida, a native of the North Eastern region is a professionally trained English and Literature teacher from Kenyatta University.
Reports indicate that the vocal Somali politician taught the twin subjects at Lenana High and Dadaab Secondary school before joining politics.
Dida is well remembered for his hilarious statements during the electioneering periods, a thing that saw him labelled 'a political joker'.
Among the notable statements is when he told Kenyans that President Kenyatta and Raila Odinga would take the country nowhere since they were in the same game for decades.
“If Raila will be elected or President Kenyatta given another term, Kenya will go nowhere. They are the same players and they will not solve your problems. I am the solution,” Dida said was quoted by Nation.
