Chaos erupted in Kibra on Monday during Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidate for Kibra parliamentary by-election Imran Okoth's campaigns.
A section of youths accompanying Mr Okoth started fighting each other.
In a video shared online by Nation, the youths can be seen pushing and pulling each other as Imran watches.
However, it is not clear while the youths started throwing kicks and blows at each other.
Imran is surrounded by his security personnel, who can be seen protecting him from the youths.
He was in his daily campaigns in the area of moving from door to door.
Last week, supporters of Imran and Mariga were captured pulling down posters of their opponents.
However, leaders have called on their supporters to remain peaceful during the campaigns.
Imran is among candidates running for the Kibra parliamentary seat. Other candidate includes Jubilee Party candidate Macdonald Mariga and Amani National Congress (ANC) party candidate Eliud Owalo, among others.
Imran and Mariga are considered the top favourites to take the Kibra seat.
Many people have come out to state that the race in Kibra is about Jubilee and ODM.
The seat fell vacant after the death of Kibra MP Ken Okoth who succumbed to cancer. The by-elections are slated for November 7, 2019.
