In a tweet on Tuesday, Ole Kiyiapi said that the decision of the head of state with ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga was unfounded.

Kiyiapi said that the team was given a period of one year to collect views and compile a report on the same only for it to bring forth raw content.

He asked the President to consider a lean team of experts to give the nation the way forward on the implementation of the report after it was launched.

"Really, BBI Task Force was given one and half years to give away forward on 9 critical issues: they came up with a wanting report, ambiguous recommendations, over 10 Billion down, THEN they are given extended time to finish what they failed to do? Why NOT a lean expert Team?' he tweeted.

The remarks come after President Kenyatta decided to extend the team's tenure following a meeting with Raila. The report has caused a political storm in the nation over the implementation of the same with a debate ensuing on whether the report should be implemented through parliament or referendum.
