World's best teacher Peter Tabichi has landed yet another a chance of a lifetime after he was invited to address the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Tabichi who teaches at Keriko Mixed Day Secondary School at Pwani village in Njoro, Nakuru County will be expected to speak during the event that will attract leaders from all over the world. 

He made history after he was crowned the award of the 2019 Global Teacher Prize. 

The award saw him pocket $1 million reward, which he later channelled towards funding the education of needy students from different parts of Kenya. 

He will be expected to recite the popular St Francis prayer at the start of the summit. 

Brother Tony Donald from Ireland has confirmed the chance given to the teacher as he continues to sail through glory.

“This is a big honour for St Franciscan brothers. It shows that the UN recognises our order as it plays a key role in the development of humanity," Donald said, as quoted Daily Nation, Sunday.  

Tabichi has also been scheduled to make a few remarks prior to praying.
