Rising to power is not an easy task, former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has a tough race ahead of him.

Is there a story unfolding in your community? Let Hivisasa know

Kalonzo needs to know how he will garner more votes than Deputy President William Ruto or ex-Prime Minister Raila Odinga in case he will contest for the post.

First and foremost, Kalonzo needs to reach out to Coastal leaders to win their hearts if he wants to become the next President of this nation.

The Ukambani political kingpin must convince Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho to join his camp.

At the same time, Kalonzo needs to address land issues at the Coast among others in his manifesto.

Residents of this region have been lamenting about poor governance, they will not make a mistake of voting for someone who will not address their concerns.

Secondly, Kalonzo must win votes from the Mulembe Nation.

The Luhya community has not been voting as a block but you never know what can happen come 2022.

The Wiper leader needs the blessings of Ford Kenya chief Moses Wetangula and his ANC counterpart Musalia Mudavadi to rise to power.

Thirdly, Kalonzo cannot become President if the Kikuyu community turns against him.

He needs to prove that he will be the President of everyone once he takes over power.

Kalonzo must include the needs of this community in his agenda when that time comes.

Fourthly, Kalonzo must get some good votes from the Rift Valley.

He can use Baringo Senator Gideon Moi to silence Ruto in the region and garner millions of votes to his advantage.

Kalonzo could give Ruto a run for his money if he gets support from retired President Daniel Arap Moi’s son.

Lastly, he needs to form an alliance with a national outlook.

The alliance should compose of leaders from all over the country.

Kenyans always want to feel one of their own is in power.

Kalonzo can form an all-inclusive government that will cater to the needs of the common mwanachi.
