Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino has taken a swipe at Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni following the arrest of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine.
Taking to his Facebook page, Babu asked Ugandans to oust Museveni by sending him to jail.
"Ugandans use this opportunity to take the old man to jail, he said adding that "if possible to his grave."
The vocal Kenyan legislator who is also the Secretary of Young Parliamentarians has been a great critic of the long-serving Ugandan old President Museveni with Owino lately championing for a revolt of Museveni's rule.
Bobi Wine was arrested on Monday morning while heading for a press conference where he was to talk about police brutality and governance.
Wine is a strong critic of Museveni's rule. This is not the first time he has been arrested. Last year, he found himself on the firing line after some residents pelted Museveni's motorcade with stones.
Museveni has held onto power for three decades.
Last week Ugandan Supreme Court cleared Museveni to run for the sixth term in office after the age limit was removed.
Museveni remains among the longest-serving heads of states in Africa.
