Speaking on Saturday in Uasin Gishu County, Sudi, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, poked holes into Uhuru's war on graft, terming it a scheme to finish specific targets.

On Wednesday, he maintained that Uhuru's campaign is aimed at punishing a single person, far from his (Uhuru) assertions that it will apply across the board.

"My friend (Uhuru), it doesn't require rocket science for anybody to see that your so-called fight against corruption is targeted at individuals and a community, contrary to your assertions," he wrote on his social media page.

He gave an example of the Arror and Kimwarer dams scandal, wondering why so much noise is being made about no work having started yet payments have been made in billions in several other similar projects.

He noted that payments have also been channelled to the Thwake, Karemenu and Elgeyo Marakwet dams, wondering why only the two have been picked.

“Advance payments were made for Thwake dam in Makueni (7.2 billion, 2 years ago), Karumenu dam in Kiambu (3.6 billion, one and half years ago), Arror dam in Elgeyo/ Marakwet (4.2 billion, a year ago), and Kimwarer dam in Elgeyo/Marakwet (3.6 billion, 6 months ago),” he added.

Speaking while opening the 6th Annual Devolution Conference, Uhuru told Sudi to stop attacking him at funerals and challenged him to instead raise the issue with the relevant investigative bodies.
