Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui is rooting for the construction of Salgaa interchange to easy movement of vehicles.
Speaking during the Jamhuri Day celebrations at Afraha stadium, Kinyanjui said the county government will ensure the construction is done.
“As a county, we are keen on having the Salgaa interchange constructed so as to allow for the easy movement of vehicles and mobility of other road users,” Kinyanjui said.
Salgaa has been a nightmare to motorists claiming several lives.
The governor also took the moment to talk to drivers plying the route to be careful this festive season.
“I urge drivers and other road users to be careful while using the road and also being mindful of other road users. Yesterday we laid to rest three siblings who were hit by a vehicle in Bahati. It was a very sad and unfortunate event,” the county boss said.
