Governor Sonko says that he will not be intimidated for doing his work right.

He said that he has the mandate and power to dissolve, sack or suspend county officials who fail in their duties.

The governor said that Pumwani top officials will not be reinstated since they are under investigations over the infants saga.

“I cannot be intimidated by threats when I am doing my constitutional work,” he said on Wednesday.

The governor said that the Monday expose at Pumwani is now in the hands of detectives.

On Tuesday, the union gave Sonko seven days to reinstate Pumwani top officials or else they strike.

The doctors accused Sonko of interfering with their work and also intimidating them.
