But that was before Wanyama, who plies his trade with English side Tottenham Hotspurs, stepped out with a stunning black suit.

In fact he decided to go out all black; a black trouser, black shirt, black neck tie, black shoes and black belt.

He posted the picture on February 18, 2019 on his social media pages among them Facebook.

“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. Have a good week,” he posted.

The 27-year-old Kenyan international is taking steps towards full recovery after suffering various injuries last year.

He has been getting a few minutes in his Spurs side as he continues his path towards full fitness.

The midfielder is expected to lead Harambee Stars during this year’s edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt in June.

It will be the first time for him to represent the national team at a major football tournament since he first featured for Harambee Stars back in 2007.

The last time Harambee Stars took part in the AFCON tournament was in 2004 in Tunisia, under then head Coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee.
