Outspoken lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna may not return to Kenya before 2032 if his outbursts against President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga continue.
Miguna who is in Canada after being deported on March 29th has since his departure maintained an online onslaught against the three leaders despite calls from Kenyans that he stops the same to secure his return to the country.
If Ruto becomes President in 2022, and successfully defends his presidential seat in 2027 maintains the government's stand that Miguna is not a Kenyan, then the man who claims to have been born in Nyando in Kisumu County may have to wait until 2032 when Ruto leaves State House to negotiate for his return.
Miguna was deported from Kenya after he oversaw the swearing in of Raila as the people's president at Uhuru Park on January 31st 2018.
Among other leaders he landed into trouble with following Raila's inauguration were MPs Tom Kajwang' (Ruaraka) and his Makadara counterpart George Aladwa.
The government maintains that Miguna is not a Kenya and when he attempted to return to the country after his first deportation, the Immigration Department demanded that he applies for the Kenyan citizenship afresh. He rejected the idea and he was deported again.
