A man is yet to come into terms after his wife allegedly stole Sh20,000 from him on Sunday in Getare and disappeared to unknown place.
Pius Borura said he has been happily married with his wife, Damaris Kerubo for 10 years.
"I married my wife 10 years ago and we have been blessed with three children. We had a disagreement with her regarding our daughter who is in form 3.
"She stole Sh20,000 I left in the house and escaped to unknown place without informing the children where she was going," he said.
According to him, he was to pay the money as school fees for their daughter Ann Monyangi who was scheduled to report to school , Monday.
"Monyangi is in form 3 at Kioge girls high school in Kisii County and I was to pay the money for her school fees before she reports to school.
"I have no money to pay for her to go back to school since all the money I had was stolen by his mother whose whereabouts is unknowns," he stated.
Area administrator Fred Ntabo said Borura reported the matter to his office and a search has been launched to arrest the woman.
"The woman must be arrested to produce the money. Theft is a crime punishable by law. We are tracing her to her parents' home in Manga," he stated.
