Economist and opposition adviser David Ndii has laughed off a tweet from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga expressing gratitude after residents turned out in large number for their rally.
The African Union Representative was on Sunday accompanied to Kibra by various leaders supporting ODM party candidate for the Kibra parliamentary by-elections Imran Okoth for what was called 'Kibra Confirmation Rally' in Kibra Constituency.
The rally attracted thousands of people, which according to ODM was a good sign of the people's support for their candidate.
Raila Odinga took to twitter to thank the people for their turn out and even expressed his confidence that Imran will definitely win.
''We had a great time at the #KibraConfirmation Rally and I wish to thank the people of Kibra for the great turnout and restating their commitment to support Benard Okoth Imran on 7th November. #MbelePamoja,'' said Raila Odinga.
However, David Ndii, who has been a great critic of the ODM party candidate Raila Odinga, laughed off his remarks.
Ndii reminded Raila that only the person with 'keys to the IEBC server' will win the upcoming elections.
''Outcome will tell us who has the password to the IEBC server,'' said David Ndii.
Focus on the 7 November 2019 election has been shifted to be a battle between Raila and Deputy President William Ruto, with many saying that it will be measuring their might ahead of the 2022 presidential elections.
