Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka is a man on a mission.
Kalonzo has repeatedly said he will be contesting for the nation’s top seat in 2022.
The Ukambani political kingpin is looking up to the support of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to beat his greatest rival, Deputy President William Ruto when that time comes.
It, however, remains unclear whether Raila will throw his weight behind Kalonzo during the race to state house.
NASA is on the verge of collapse.
The leaders seem not to speak in one voice as much they have denied the same on several occasions.
It all started when Kalonzo, Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula, and Amani National Congress (ANC) leader, Musalia Mudavadi decided to skip the controversial swearing in ceremony of Raila at Uhuru Park.
Supporters and a section of NASA leaders started labeling Kalonzo and the rest who did not appear for the ceremony cowards. Kalonzo has since dismissed allegations that he is a coward and promised to make a stronger comeback in the political scene.
Kalonzo will not be a strong candidate if the current political situation is anything to go by without the support of Raila Odinga. He has to form a formidable team to make his presidential dream come true.
