Gospel musician David Junior Odera popularly known by his stage name David Wonder has come out to respond to claims that he and his colleague Mr Seed owe their fellow artist Bahati Sh6 million.
David argued that Bahati, who is the EMB records boss, lied when he claimed that he had used over Sh6 million to build the two musicians' careers.
“As a Christian, I don’t see the need for telling lies. When I heard Bahati’s remarks that he spent more than Sh6 million on us, I was shocked,” said David Wonder as quoted by eDaily.
This comes just days after Bahati made the allegations during a TV interview.
“I have never said this anywhere, but these guys owe me more than Sh6 million. And that’s why I am telling you they created a story to trend but time will tell,” Bahati stated during an Interview on NTV.
David Wonder left Bahati’s EMB record in February in a quest to build his own brand. He revealed that ever since leaving the recording label, he has never spoken to Bahati.
He further noted that Bahati and Mr Seed were very close, adding that Seed could be in a better position to know the exact money they owe Bahati, which according to him is not Sh6 million.
