The Garissa Town MP said among the agenda he discussed with former ODM Secretary General include Big Four agenda; reviving of Kisumu Cotton Mills, rice farming among others.

"Paid a courtesy call to Kisumu Governor Prof. @AnyangNyongo ahead of Mother's for Peace Conference, Kisumu. On top of our discussion was the big 4 agenda including affordable housing, the revival of KICOMI, revitalisation of rice farming and building of the Kisumu County Assembly," he said.

Mr Duale was first elected on ODM to represent Dujis in 2007. He ditched the orange party for the defunct United Republican Party that was associated with DP William Ruto.

While a team supporting DP Ruto identified as Tangatanga has strongly attacked ODM leader Raila Odinga, Mr Duale, who is still in Ruto's camp, has reduced his onslaught against the former premier raising eyebrows.

On Thursday, he dismissed calls to have a Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting, arguing that the party is still moving towards the right direction.

“We will convene a meeting if I receive the party leader’s instructions. We have no crisis at the moment. There is no urgency,” Duale said.

According to Duale, the president and his deputy consult every day.“I was in a meeting on Wednesday with them,” he said.

Before the historic handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga, Duale was one of the politicians whose presence in Kisumu would have led to chaos.
