After weeks of missing action, ex-City Hall boss Evans Kidero made a public appearance on Friday.
Last month, Kidero was arrested by detectives and freed on bail over alleged misappropriation of funds.
At Kibra, Dr. Kidero was invited by area MP Ken Okoth who was issuing a new school bus to Kibra Primary School.
Other leaders present were ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris.
In his speech, Kidero lauded Mr. Okoth and asked other MPs across the country to emulate him.
Last year, Kidero lost to Governor Mike Sonko, who has since ruled out defending his seat in 2022.
While his next move remains unclear, Kidero could try his luck at City Hall and may compete with Embakasi East MP Babu Owino for ODM ticket.
