This is after the Mabati Rolling Mills(MRM), on Monday launched its second edition of the annual photography competition which targets conversation.

Speaking during the launch at the Mabati Rolling Mills offices along Mombasa road, head of marketing Mrs Karen Gikunda said that this years edition will be about the forest conservation, the beauty of it, its impact on climate change and the environmental abasement.

‘’We are thrilled to be part of this great awareness, we need to protect our environment to safeguard our future generations. Climate action is a duty for all, it’s an honour to be part of an initiative that will drive the conversation around conservation while appreciating the beauty of Mother Nature,’’ said Gikunda.

Mr. Henry Muchangi, the Safal Group Regional Marketing Head of Eastern Africa noted that the Mabati Rolling Mills is committed to giving back to the environment where it works thus ensuring leadership and management and all staff alongside the families are part of the global community doing their part to protect the environment and reduce collective carbon footprint.
